Bereavement Support Service
When someone close to you dies from a terminal illness, it can be difficult to manage your feelings of grief and loss. Our free Bereavement Support Service offers emotional support of up to six weekly sessions with the same volunteer over the phone. Whether you’re grieving for someone who died recently or a long time ago, we can help by talking through your feelings, sharing information, or simply listening.

Companion over the phone
If you, or someone close to you, is terminally ill, you may need someone to talk to. Marie Curie’s free Companion over the phone service provides regular emotional support with the same trained volunteer each week, no matter where you live in the UK or whether you’ve accessed support from Marie Curie before.
You may have lots to say or very little. However you’re feeling, you can talk about it with a friendly, non-judgmental Marie Curie Companion.
